Hi, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself as well as
my hubby. We are a husband and wife owned studio built on craftsmanship,
creativity, & a deep love for beautiful details.

We’re Beverly and Rick Hearon, the makers behind The Urban
Disciple brand.

I am the creative force & hands on designer behind our
jewelry line, I love dreaming up bold collections, unexpected combinations,
& designs that walk the line between vintage glamour & modern urban
edge. Rick is the creative force & hands-on craftsman behind our leather
creations, going to great lengths to source only the finest quality leather
available. His passion for leather crafting was born from years of building
& refurbishing saddles, bridles, & harnesses, rooted in a lifelong love
of all things equine related. If you had told him years ago that he’d set aside
his saddles to craft high-end leather handbags for women, he probably would
have laughed until he cried. And as fate would have it, that’s where I entered
the story. Little ol’ me, who loved making jewelry & all things creative.
It didn’t take long for us to realize how perfectly aligned we were, & as
the saying goes, the rest is history.

Together, we design & handcraft small batch &
one-of-a-kind statement jewelry, hand stitched leather handbags &
accessories. Every piece is made with intention, one piece at a time, using
high quality materials, thoughtful construction, & an unwavering attention
to detail. From butter soft leather, extraordinary hardware & custom
finishes, to vintage glam statement jewelry with an urban twist, no detail is
too small, and nothing is overlooked.

Our work is rooted in authenticity. We believe luxury should
feel personal, not mass produced. Each piece is designed to be worn, loved,
& then worn again & loved more. The Urban Disciple isn’t about trends
for the sake of trends. It’s about confidence, individuality, & the art of
expressing who you are through what you wear. Crafted in the Heartland,
